Guinea Pig Grooming

We are very pleased and excited to announce that we now offer guinea pig grooming!

Guinea pigs should be bathed about once a month to keep their skin healthy and free from problems. We use gorgeous guineasproducts which are "the worlds first and only range of handmade aromatherapy products designed especially for guinea pigs"

Grooms available:
  • Bronze Pig (suitable for short hair pigs) - Shampoo and Condition, blow dry, brush and nails
  • Silver Pig  - As above with additional guinea pig melt treatment
  • Gold Pig (for long hair piggies) - As above plus hair trim
Shampoo's and treatments:
  • Conditioning Shampoo Original 4 Oil - with Lavender, Lemon grass, Tea Tree and Patchouli
  • Conditioning Shampoo Lemon, tea tree and lavender - a lovely fresh smelling shampoo, ideal if you don't like the smell of Patchouli
  • Conditioning Shampoo Lavender - a gentle shampoo that works particularly well for Rex / Texel guineas and makes Silver Agouti pigs "sparkle".
  • Posh 'n' Go Protein Shampoo - Silk Protein shampoo for pampered piggies. Designed especially for guineas with long / flyaway hair, this shampoo is stuffed full of active ingredients including D-Panthenol, Sea Silk and Phytokeratin.
  • Mini Pig Shampoo (For pigs under 12 weeks old) - A very mild and gentle shampoo. It contains a small quantity of Chamomile and Lavender Pure Essential Oils.
  • Just for Boars conditioning shampoo - Sandalwood and Cedarwood for the Boar that wants to be fragrant without the founce, fresh but not flowery.
  • Coconut Melt -  A pre-shampoo treat for your guinea which leaves the hair soft and fluffy.  
  • Lavender conditioner - Leaves your guinea's hair smooth and silky

Guinea pigs are booked into the salon on special piggy afternoons when we are shut to dogs. Each piggy groom takes approximately 45 Min's to an hour depending on piggy behaviour and fur condition.

Please make sure you bring you guinea pig in a suitable and safe travel container.
